PLATES CUTTING OFF

In this sector are made the following operations:
- - flatten out;
- - cutting with flame-cutting machines with photoelectric cell by copying the drawing for plates 3-150mm thick;
- - rolling up for plates 1-40mm thickness and up to 2500mm width, diameter min. 300mm and shape can be cylindrical or cone;
- - banding up to 35mm thick, width max. 2500mm and radius curvature Rmax=100mm.

IRON CASTING


This sector has two foundry cupola with a casting capacity of around 2000kg/h, used to iron smelting FC 100, FC 250 and alloyed cast iron with Cu and Cr. Cast pieces start from 1kg up to 6000kg.

STELL CASTING


This sector has an electric furnace with acid lining with a casting capacity of 1500kg/burden and electric arc furnace with a capacity of around 3t, for low alloyed cast steel. Cast pieces have between 1kg and 1500kg.

FORGE


Hot processing sector for metals is equipped with a pneumatic hammer of 1000kgf, forge hammer of 3000kgf and a friction press of 400tf.

MACHINING


Machining processes that are possible to be performed in the factory are:
- - linear cutting off;
- - centre;
- - exterior facing, interior facing of cylinder and cone surfaces, profiled facing;
- - frontal facing;
- - drilling;
- - exterior, interior, plane, gear teeth and channelling grinding;
- - strait, inclined and bevel-gear teething;
- - boring;
- - milling.

Machining sectors have high performance equipments:
- drilling in coordinates OERLICON;
- - CNC parallel lathe GIUSTINA with diameter max. 2000mm and length max. 10000mm;
- - CNC boring-and-turning mill SHIBAURA, max. diameter 8500mm and high 3500mm;
- - deep holes machine TACCHI with a maximum interior diameter 300mm with length of 9600mm;
- - bevel-gear-tooth machine with a maximum diameter of 550mm and pitch 10;
- - boring and milling CNC machine SHIBAURA with maximum diameter of the spindle of 340mm for pieces of max. 60t, with machining in 3 coordinates:

" y=5000mm
" z=3200mm
" mobile table can move along 3000mm and can rotate 360º
- exterior round finishing up to 750mm diameter and 6100mm length;
- longitudinal gate milling machine for pieces up to 6000mm long and 2000mm width;
- non-conventional machining : universal electro erosion machine ELER-GEP 100 MF + 100 MP working by removing material and can drill cylindrical, cone-shape or profiled holes, diverse profiles concave and convex;
- on CNC ELEROFIL machine using ROGIF 20 generator and uses deionizated water.

HEAT TREATMENTS

In this sector are performed the following heat treatments: volume quenching, tempering, case-hardening using oven with controlled atmosphere and superficial hardening using flame and HFC. Flame superficial heat treatments can be made for pieces with diameter between 300mm and 1000mm.

WELDED STRUCTURES

Most used welding procedures are: manual covered rod or with protected environments and automatised with fluxshielded arc. Most used welding procedure uses CO2 protected environments (MAG) and wire of Ø1,2mm and Ø 1,4mm. In our workshops can be processed subassemblies up to 34m long, 8m wide and 4m tall, with a weight of around 100t.
The company has a sandblasting cleaning station using corundum, a sand blasting station with iron shots and a painting and drying cabin with controlled temperature.
